02 Oct Propozition helps Fujitsu become successful bidder to deliver the HMRC Trader Support Service (TSS)
We are delighted to have helped Fujitsu UK, a leading ICT provider, extend their relationship with HMRC (the UK’s tax authority). We supported the Fujitsu-led consortium being selected to deliver the Trader Support Service (TSS) which will provide customs advice/support to GB-based businesses supplying goods to Northern Ireland in 2021 and beyond.
This was simply the best proposal I have seen us produce – as evidenced by our successful appointment. Propozition helped my talented team capture their value on paper – directly contributing to the high technical scores achieved.

Over several months we have been working with the Fujitsu UK team. Our work has included:
- An independent bids review and benchmarking exercise
- Effective bid response writing course – both classroom (pre-Covid-19) and live-online versions
- Supporting various procurements including the Fujitsu TSS appointment – which the official procurement notice values at £200m.
I was first introduced to Propozition when they provided independent and incisive feedback on our recent bids. Their bid-writing training course offered more than just a useful set of tools. It helped us fundamentally rethink our approach to writing bids – and we can measure the value it delivered in the work we have won.
Jonny Sherwin and his team have repeatedly got stuck into our bids – connecting high-level strategic challenge, guidance and win themes with detailed crafting, templates and graphics…and a welcome dose of good humour to diffuse the inevitable tensions of extended seven-day working.
They quickly built great working relationships with my direct team and the senior leadership of our consortium partners – facilitating online an interactive strategy workshop on a Sunday lunchtime is just one example.
Propozition continues to make a significant contribution to our success in bidding. Our most recent and winning submission was persuasive, attractive, easy-to-navigate and achieved consistently high scores. Looking forward to working with them again.
