Propozition produces Serco video to encourage clients to outsource ‘soft FM’

As part of a wider Public Finance Initiative project, the procuring client had not determined whether or not to include ‘soft FM’ services in the outsourcing agreement, e.g. facilities management services like cleaning and catering.

Serco was proud not only of its track record of customer satisfaction but also of how it had positively engaged with the workforce that was to transfer to their employment – a natural source of anxiety on such projects.

We were commissioned to interview both clients and staff of a comparable project and capture on video their experiences.

The short film was used to help Serco’s new potential client understand the value of outsourcing the ‘soft’ as well as ‘hard’ FM services and they went on to include them within the scope of the contract – which Serco won.

At very short notice, Propozition also produced a video for us that really captured the client satisfaction we’d delivered at a neighbouring PFI project.

This was a major contributor to the client extending the scope of outsourced services.
