Helping Wates rank first on £1.5bn Oxford University Framework

Helping Wates rank first on £1.5bn Oxford University Framework

We’re honoured to have helped Wates win first place on the £1.5bn construction framework for the University of Oxford – specifically the highest value ‘Over £20m’ lot.

With a high degree of involvement we helped the Wates team develop the submission and prepare their team for a first class interview presentation.

We’re especially excited to hear that, of the eight construction bidders, just three were selected and Wates scored the highest marks – ranking first.

Winning a place on the Oxford University framework – a new client for Wates – was our ambition.  To be ranked number one for the written submission and interview makes the news even better.

Propozition made a huge contribution to our success, helping us to demonstrate the value of our offer and the strength of my team.  This is probably the best bid work we’ve done.  It captures our spirit as well as our capability, and the scores and the appointment reflect this.

This is the 9th consecutive win Wates has had working with Propozition.

The University of Oxford is an internationally-esteemed institution which expects the very best from its construction providers and we are confident we have the expertise, experience and knowledge to provide this on every project.

Securing a ranking of first place out of the three successful bidders also demonstrates just how much emphasis Wates places on delivering quality, competitive projects every time. We’re very proud that this approach continues to be recognised.
