22 Mar Propozition contributes to US$2.6 billion Kuala Lumpur metro tunnelling win for MMC-Gamuda
Delivering the Kuala Lumpur MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) KL metro system is the largest infrastructure project in Malaysia’s history (being similar in scale to London’s Crossrail tunneling packages).
Five bidders reached the final stage of the procurement to deliver the prized underground tunnelling package worth RM8.2 billion (US$2.6 billion).
We worked with the winning bidder: MMC-Gamuda, (a joint venture between MMC Corp Bhd and Gamuda Bhd), Malaysia’s two leading infrastructure groups.
In a focused and time-constrained role, we were appointed to distil the detailed content of MMC-Gamuda’s technical submission into a clear and persuasively-structured executive summary. This ensured the consortium achieved the highest score for their technical ‘envelope’.
I was impressed by how quickly Propozition got to grips with the technical and local issues surrounding this tunnelling project.
