Interserve is a successful provider of services to NHS hospital trusts including ‘soft FM’ – facilities management services like cleaning and catering.
Patient and customer satisfaction levels at their project sites demonstrated that their work was patient-focused, but the challenge was to make sure this patient-led philosophy was consistently evident in their methods and in how they communicate their approach to prospective clients.
We ran an off site one-day event, inviting both operational and business development people from the Interserve health teams as well as some external health specialists.
Using a highly structured method we specially devised (that one delegate described as a board game), three separate teams rapidly prototyped three different and credible service models from which one was selected for development and testing with a prospective client.
