19 Dec Propozition helps Equion win £361m PFI Hospital bid at North Staffs
Equion (now John Laing) commissioned us to help them win this 37-year concession to design, build, service and fund a new hospital in Stoke on Trent.
Our role was to take a long written submission and turn that into a compelling executive summary, and also to stage an exhibition in which staff would vote for their preference amongst the two bidders and which would prove vital in helping the client project team choose the winning bidder.
The centrepiece of the exhibition was a five-minute video we produced, presented by key team members, which explained the key benefits of the proposals quickly and clearly.
The rest of the exhibition included live demonstrations of what the new hospital would be like. The team worked hard to bring every aspect of the proposed hospital to life with demonstrations of medical equipment through to a working sample phone system to meal tasting, all supported by simple clear messages and benefits.
The feedback from the North Staffs Trust was that we significantly improved the clarity and quality of our bid through the process.
The focus that Propozition brought to identifying and articulating the client’s requirements was fundamental to us developing this winning bid.
