30 Mar Propozition helps Equion reach preferred bidder on £761m Leicester Hospitals PFI
This three-hospital city-wide redevelopment project required a large number of presentations and staff exhibitions as well as conventional paper bid-submissions.
Working from the beginning of the bid development process right through to preferred bidder stage, we helped the consortium of Equion (now John Laing), Laing O’Rourke, BDP and Serco translate complex solutions into simple, clear messages.
On one Friday lunchtime, we were briefed to produce a 20-minute video that explained the entire scheme – to be evaluated by NHS Trust staff. On Saturday we scripted and filmed. On Sunday we edited. And by 9am on the Monday, there were 25 DVD discs of the edited video in the hands of the Leicester Trust.
Propozition made a real contribution to us achieving preferred bidder status at Leicester.
The client specifically referenced the clarity of our proposals on paper, at presentations, on video and at exhibitions – all of which Propozition was pivotal in shaping.
